Mix together:

15 oz. Whole milk ricotta cheese (Sorrento)

2 eggs

20 oz. mozzarella cheese, grated  (save 2 cups of it for topping)

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. pepper

1 lb. –1 & 1/2 lbs.  ground beef, cooked

12 lasagna noodles, cooked

Sauce:

Mix together and simmer for awhile:

2 quarts cooked down tomatoes

1 can tomato sauce

4 tsp basil

2 tsp. oregano

2 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp pepper

1/2 cup onion, chopped and cooked

In an 11 by 14 inch pan, layer sauce, noodles, HB and cheese. Add more sauce to last noodles.   Add the 2 c. cheese to top when it’s almost done.

Bake at 350 about 40-45 mins
