This is one of my first stars. I trimmed the points of the star like they did in the video.

I left the ends untrimmed for these two. I also don't glue the two middle parts together.

Below is the link to the site where I found instructions for making paper stars.  School children make them in Sweden.  It was easy and inexpensive to make.   I used  some heavy red paper and some white card stock, a razor blade, a ruler, scissors, some ribbon and glue.  When you are trying to stick the pieces together, it helps to hold the glued paper for over thirty seconds before letting go to make sure it will stay together.  It doesn’t take a lot of glue.
